No one knows when exactly humans began developing psychic powers, but interest in these individuals surged in the twentieth century upon the outbreak of World War II. Across the globe, governments sought to exploit those with psychic abilities and turn them into the next generation of weapons. Even after the war ended, the research and experiments continued on, moving forward under the watchful eye of Division agencies around the world.

All psychics have their limits, however, and Division has tasked itself with developing a drug to increase psychic power. In theory, R-16 should be the perfect augmentation booster. In actuality, not a single test subject has survived the injection; they all keep dying.

Until two days ago. Now Division finally has its Patient Zero, the first psychic who hasn't succumbed to the drug's lethality, but she isn't contained. No, she's loose and on the run. The man who is supposed to help her lives halfway around the world, and he is still unaware of the part he is meant to play in the grand scheme of things when push finally comes to shove.

But what can a telekinetic Mover do when there are Division Watchers out there foreseeing every decision he hasn't even made yet?
